What were the site updates blocked by the re-theming? - Glad you asked!

The page http://www.group42.ca/drupal formerly known as the Drupal Compendium has now been replaced. I was doing it as a straight HTML page, and it was getting tedious. It's now generated using a CCK node type and a View with a Taxonomy vocabulary determining where a specific item winds up. Along the way I changed the name to Drupal Notes, a title more in keeping with the page's humble scope.

Was it worth this much trouble for a single page? No. However, I can create entirely new pages by simply adding a new set of taxonomy terms, and that is worth the trouble!

The project didn't start as a new look.....

I've been mulling over some updates to the site and when some open time appeared I decided to make them, but I kept coming back to wanting a theme change. I couldn't shake it! Voodoo Dolly's narrow fixed width was grating on me, and I didn't want to invest the energy needed to change it. A number of nice themes have been added to the Drupal theme listing, so I picked Danger4k. And now:

I can now return myself to my originally scheduled updates.
